We are now FIVE days away from the 2022 Membership Education Retreat. The Retreat will take place via zoom January 8th 2022, from 10:00 am- 3:00 pm EST. It is very very very important that every chapter has completed the 2021 Delegate and Proxy Form! Sisters, this post is to serve as a reminder that every chapter must complete a delegate and proxy form. If you have already completed it, THANK YOU!
Since we do not have 100% of SED chapters who completed the delegate and proxy form, I have extended the deadline to Sunday, February 28, 2021, at 11:59 pm! It is imperative for our 2021 SED Virtual District Convention happening March 19- 21, 2021 that this form is filled out!

The District Council will be hosting the Membership Education Retreat on January 10, 2021, from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm EST. We are looking for all chapters to be in attendance and have some representation for this very informative event.
The District Council is excited to see you all in the New Year through the zoom platform! The Zoom link for sisters to join the Virtual MER Experience will be sent to your chapters tbsigma email account!
2021 SED Tau Beta Sigma Host Chapter
The District Council and Counselors are elated to announce that hosting the 2021 SEDC in conjunction with the Psi Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi from Auburn University will be the Epsilon Xi Chapter from Troy University!!! Help us send great wishes and love to the Epsilon Xi chapter for choosing to serve their district in this great capacity!!

DLC & MER 2020 Registration
Registration for the 2020 District Leadership Conference and Membership Education Retreat is now open! This event will take place in beautiful Starkville, Mississippi on the campus of Mississippi State University, hosted by the Epsilon Chapter of KKPsi and the Zeta Iota Chapter of TBS. The event will take place February 15-16, 2020.
Every member of each chapter who intends on going will need to register. Additionally, we have two new opportunities for members of the SED to get involved:
- A student keynote speaker will discuss Strength, Excellence, and Diversity and how the Bond has helped them
- A workshop where two chapters (one KKPsi and one TBS) from the same school with discuss how they successfully navigate inter-organizational correspondence
You can apply to be the Keynote speaker when you register, and chapters who are interested in applying for the workshop can fill out the attached application.

DLC 2020 Announcement
DLC will be held at the campus of Mississippi State University on February 15-16, 2020. Congratulations to the Epsilon chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi at Mississippi State University and the Zeta Iota chapter of Tau Beta Sigma at Jackson State University for being selected as the host chapters!
October is Service in Music Month!
Welcome to Service in Music Month! All chapters in the SED are encouraged to participate and complete at least one of these projects. Photo submissions are due to the Focus on Five Facebook group by November 1 to receive credit.
