What used to be known as the SED Concerto Competition, is now the Southeast Showcase! In order to better highlight the musical and visual talent of our chapters, more groups can now participate.

We’re looking for performances from both instrumentalists and visual performers, soloists and ensembles. All types of musical performances are welcome, whether it’s jazz, classical, baton, flag, etc.

Submissions will be reviewed by the council, and if selected, performers will be given the opportunity to perform at a time during the SED Convention, potentially including: Joint Opening, Banquet, and Joint Closing.

Notes and Requirements:

    • Only groups who have completed an application with an uploaded video will be considered
    • Groups can be comprised of Tau Beta Sigma and Kappa Kappa Psi members and candidates
    • Videos must be at least 1.5 minutes long, and be representative of the overall performance
    • Performers will have up to 10 minutes to perform
    • Some equipment, such as percussion or a piano may be provided, but is not guaranteed
  • No accompanist will be provided
